Building Wiring
Conduit and surface wiring for new builds, extensions and rewires.

Good wiring starts long before the walls are plastered. We work from your electrical drawings to lay conduit at slab stage, chase and route it through blockwork, then pull, terminate and label every circuit.
Where concealed conduit isn't practical, for example in finished buildings, extensions or industrial spaces, we install neat surface conduit and trunking that is straight, secured and easy to maintain.

FAQ
Building Wiring: common questions
Conduit (concealed) wiring runs inside pipes buried in the slab and walls, so it is hidden once the building is plastered. Surface wiring runs in conduit or trunking fixed on the wall or ceiling, which suits finished buildings, extensions and spaces where access for maintenance matters.
Before the slab is cast. Conduit for ceiling points has to go in at slab stage, and wall conduit goes in before plastering. Bringing us in early avoids breaking finished work later.
Yes. For occupied buildings we usually recommend surface conduit or trunking, planned room by room to keep disruption low.
