How it works
The maths, in plain words.
It gives a sensible starting estimate from typical appliance ratings. Real appliances vary, so we confirm the final inverter, battery and panel sizes after a site load assessment.
We add about 25% headroom for motor start-up surges (pumps, fridges, air conditioners) and future additions, and convert watts to kVA using a 0.8 power factor.
About 4.5 peak sun hours per day, a conservative average for southern Nigeria, with 25% allowance for system losses.
